The quick-release collet is an accessory element of the interchangeable tooling for machining parts and workpieces on the JET turning equipment. The device is used for quick change and installation of removable collets for subsequent metalworking on lathes of the GH-1640ZX and GH-2280ZX models. The use of a quick-clamping device can significantly increase the productivity of turning work, improve the quality of metalworking. The auxiliary equipment is easily and quickly installed in the chuck, without requiring the changeover of the main equipment.
