Designed for use as a primary relief valve on forklift tanks, the 8545AK relief valve is designed to reduce the potential for malfunction due to foreign material. All guides, springs, stem and adjustable components are located inside the vessel - away from the direct influence of foreign materials and debris from the atmosphere. According to the requirements of NFPA No. 58: "In all tanks used in the operation of industrial trucks (including forklift tanks), tank relief valves must be replaced with new or unused ones within 12 years from the time of production of the tank and thereafter within every 10 years."
