The semiconductor rectifier DTE-6 is designed for testing DC circuit breakers with a primary current up to 6kA. The installation is a regulated source of alternating current, and also measures and records the current characteristics of the circuit breaker under test. Also, the rectifier can be used as a source of rectified current up to 6kA, in low impedance power circuits, for laboratory work.
