Intrinsically safe electrical contact device IKU-2 is intended for: work in automation systems of stationary installations, loading points of mines; increasing the reliability and safety of mine automation circuits by ensuring self-monitoring of the line health when the device is operating with limit switches, with brush and other types of sensors; separation and multiplication of spark-hazardous and intrinsically safe circuits in relay-contact circuits of mine automation. The device is designed for operation in mines, including those hazardous for gas or dust (ambient temperature from minus 5 to 40 ° С, relative humidity up to 98% at 25 ° С).
