A characteristic distinguishing feature of Direct Fired Evaporators is their complete autonomy, since a gas burner is used for evaporation. These evaporators are mobile and perfect for temporary placement. The thick-walled, rugged cabinet has a protective cover, and the heavy-duty vessel is designed for high pressure.
When the liquid injection valve is open, liquid enters the evaporator heat exchanger. The temperature sensor receives information that the gas is cold and starts the burner, which heats the gas to a boil, creating overpressure.
The flow of liquefied gas from the vessel to the evaporator will stop in two cases:
- if the liquid level rises so much that it closes the valve of the inlet of the liquid phase;
- if the pressure in the evaporator is the same as the pressure in the tank.
