In scroll compressors, the gas is compressed by two spiral-shaped elements located in the upper part of the compressor above the electric motor. The suction gas enters the compressor through the suction pipe. As the gas stream flows around the engine casing and passes through it, ensuring complete cooling of the compressor in all operating modes, oil droplets in the gas escape from it and fall to the bottom of the crankcase. After passing through the electric motor, the gas enters the scroll elements of the compressor, where the compression process takes place. Ultimately, the compressed gas leaves the compressor via the discharge port.
