It is used in potash mines as a reloader or drift conveyor and is designed to deliver potash ore along drifts (glades) from the face conveyor or reloader to a subsequent drift conveyor or other vehicle. The conveyor can also be used to transport ore through crossings and other horizontal straight-line mines. For the same purposes, the conveyor can be used in coal and shale mines. The conveyor has a number of designs that differ in the length of the design of the drives, the power and the number of drive units, the design of the pans and their connections.
