The FBC9080 Fieldbus Converter is an easy way to get fieldbus connectivity to all PowerScan 9xxx scanners as well as any other device equipped with a standard RS232 interface. The IP65 rating and M12 connectors make this converter ideal for demanding industrial Ethernet applications, while the two-port switch eliminates the need for expensive external devices. The FBC9080-N100 model integrates scanners into a PROFINET / IO-enabled PLC system, and the FBC9080-N200 version connects devices to any EtherNet / IP IO-enabled PLC system. Both models also feature a standard Ethernet TCP / IP data socket port that provides bi-directional point-to-point communication with the scanner. The FBC9080-Nx00 are easily configured using Datalogic Aladdin software.
