Designed specifically for use as a primary relief valve on large stationary pressure vessels with flanged connections. Multiport valves have a back-up relief valve, allowing service or replacement of any relief valve without interrupting operation. Rotation of the handwheel selectively closes the inlet to the removable relief valve, while the remaining relief valves keep the reservoir operational. The performance of each Multiport valve is based on the actual flow through it after one relief valve has been removed.
