Regulators "Brownie" are two-stage combined regulators. The regulator includes a safety shut-off valve SSV and a safety relief valve (SSV) integrated into the second stage of reduction.
The design of the regulators, due to a two-stage reduction scheme, provides an insignificant dependence of the throughput on the level of the inlet pressure, and a higher stability of the outlet pressure in comparison with the single-stage scheme. This is achieved by the fact that the first stage regulator is a stabilizer that provides a constant inlet pressure upstream of the second stage regulator.
