W-SIL strainer is a self-cleaning brush strainer specially designed to remove large particles from process fluids, to protect downstream equipment such as centrifuges, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.
The W-SIL self-cleaning brush filters are ideal for filtering a wide range of process fluids. Any coarse particles or particulates caught in the strainer are continuously removed from the surface of the filter using brushes or scrapers. Then these particles are collected in a sump, which is emptied at regular intervals.
The W-SIL strainer is ideal for filtering products containing solid, non-fibrous particles. The device is available with several different filter sizes and configurations to suit specific applications.
