TPR is designed for four-stroke diesel engines from 1250 kW to 4400 kW with one or two turbochargers per engine. Designed for modern medium-speed engines used on heavy fuel locomotives. This turbocharger is equipped with features that meet the most demanding requirements for main line and heavy shunting locomotives.
The TPR turbocharger is available in three sizes, namely TPR52, TPR56 and TPR61 and can be supplied with a variable geometry turbine (VTG).
