The Medilas Fibertom 8100 can be operated in a variety of modes and contains unique safety features including the Light Guide Protection System (LPS) and Fibertom Precision Cut Mode.
The Light Guide Protection System (LPS) stops the supply of energy to the fiber tip in the event of overheating. This prevents the tool tip from overheating inside the body from collapsing and reduces the risk of tissue damage.
Fibertom's cut mode offers optimized cut quality and maintains the temperature at the fiber end within specified limits.
