• to prevent gas hydrate and asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD);
• for the injection of high-temperature media into the reservoir for the purpose of heating high-viscosity oils, during the operation of thermal cycling methods of hydrocarbon production (including such as CSS and SAGD);
